Saturday, December 20, 2014 – It’s nice to visit Santa Cruz during the slow season (winter break). Basically, the kids are out so I went in. No crowds and easy parking makes for a very efficient trip. Half a day was more than enough. My favorites this time were the curry chicken avocado salad from The Buttery, all the pastries from Cafe Delmarette, and the ice cream from the Penny Ice Creamery. I also had an acai bowl from Samba Rock Acai Cafe but service was so bad I don’t even want to go into it. I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking.
